What do you think of Disarm and Distracting Strike
What do you think of disarm and distracting strike as an interrupt for sword Warriors?I see that distracting strike is almost like savage slash. What do you all think?

disarm>distracting blow>savage slash. If you are fast enough to interupt an attack that is

disarm, is pretty damn sick, good interrupt, and you can take a warrior completely out of the game. (it's basically blackout)
distracting strike is a nice interrupt and followup for spikes, dblow does not do damage, thats the only difference.
@netniwk: disarm doesnt need you to to interrupt an attack skill, just an attacking warrior... at least thats how it worked last time i tried.

I hate disarm. I was in RA the other day and a W/Me was basically wailing on the monks while occasionally coming and disarming me every now and then totally destroying all the adrenaline I made.
It's made worse because I was running backbreaker

i use disarm too... does it take away all of the enemy's adrenaline? i thought it just 'disable' it for 1-4 sec...

I know that, but if you don't interupt attacks its just a distracting blow with a 2sec longer recharge(and damage, but who cares about that )

Well, since agonizing chop got nerfed, there's not much 1/2 casttime attacks that are useful for instant spike followups. One of these interrupts would be a better choice than protectors strike imo. (although on axe I usually take dchop)

I think they're great. I'm usually a ranger in PvP (and PvE lately) so I feel pretty naked on any character without an interrupt. Also very useful for damage compression following a high-damage attack. Though if a solid interrupt is all you want, Distracting Blow still has the best recharge and a slight AoE on top of that.

I've run two nice builds with these skills.
Shell Shock + Distracting Strike.
Distracting Strike + Disarm + Distracting Blow + Savage Slash + Flourish.
That second build is more for fun than anything...................

Disarms a great skill. Can pretty much shut down a warrior that uses lots of adrenaline and if you're lucky you can catch a sins spike. Haven't used distracting blow yet.
